40 Days…40 Posts

WordPress sent out an email encouraging a blog post a day to prepare for National Novel Writing month in November. No desire to write a novel in a month (yes, I have an outline of a novel that I started sometime about five years ago, so the task of writing one in a month seems daunting!). But, maybe I will try blogging every day for a month. Doesn’t seem so hard in comparison.

But then the trick…what will I write about that is compelling and works with my Forty Fabulous Things project. Or do I diverge from the intended path and just write about whatever strikes my fancy. I am guessing it will be a combination of posts. Oh, and Bill threw out the challenge that instead of posting for a month, I should stick with the theme of forty and post forty days in a row. Okay, I try it. I do have to confess, I am not sure I can do it. I have failed to excercise for forty days straight (and if you can see all the drafts of each time I have started that you would understand. It is tough to add something to my day for that many days straight. I can do 5 out of 7 consistently. So feel free to offer words of encouragement through the next forty days. I will appreciate it!)

For today’s post, I am going simple. Just putting it out there that I have set a goal to post every day for 40 days. By the way, this is my third post in three days. I’m on my way!

  1. Looking forward to day 4! 😉 You can do it!!! (But don’t read my blog, I haven’t updated it in about a year…you know, I’ll use the excuse of having 2 teens and 2 toddlers…sounds like a good excuse to me!)
